The devil finds work for idle hands

So while my wife is out chopping wood (see yesterday's post) I've been keeping occupied by carving orange-peel men with pith willies.

Isn't he cute? And of course - on the end of his willy there is ......

a pith helmet!

How impressively creative!
When are these going to be exhibited at the Louvre, or at least L'Orangerie?... :-)

Heheheh!

At least (or unfortunately) he won't suffer the same fate as that which he'd been covering.

L'Orangerie

LOL! Niiice...

It is really easy to do. And when people see you carving the peel at the dinner table they're all "ooh, what are you making? A little man? how cute"

And then when you peel him oout and reveal the rudity it's a great result.

And of course on the other side of the peel he has a little green starfish in the right place too!

Charming!
I shall start practicing immediately with this fascinating art form!
Can go for different races of peel-people: orange, yellow, green...
